How can you find a particular pharmacists job history and record?
I am wanting to investigate my pharmacists experience because I have some concerns about mistakes with meds?

- DEPENDS ON THE STATE....BUT MOST HAVE A DEPT. OR DIVISION OF PROFESSIONAL LICENSING U CAN LOOK UP ONLINE
- you can check on his license status in the state they are licensed in. Where they have worked is something that could be obtained via subpoena. Of course, you could always try asking nicely
- #1 - Job history and record - this is not something you can find out from any division of licensing for any state UNLESS the pharmacist has a habit of providing his work address as his mailing address for his professional license (the pharmacists I know in CA usually provide their residential addresses - or PO Boxes). #2 - You can usually only find out the licensing information for the pharmacist by contacting the Board of Pharmacy in the state in which the pharmacist works. The licensing information will tell you the current address that the pharmacist has registered with the board, their license number, and when the license expires. It usually doesn't provide any additional information. #3 - Unless you register a complaint with the Board of Pharmacy (and even if you do that), it is unlikely that you will be able to find out the pharmacist's work history (online or in person). Again, because the pharmacist is not required to tell the Board of Pharmacy every time they change jobs. What you might be able to do is find out their address history - but I suspect that information is private. #4 - you cannot have a subpoena issued unless you have filed a lawsuit or there is some type of administrative process in which you are involved against the pharmacist. For the administrative process - it is usually the Board of Pharmacy that would begin the process and you may or may not be a witness but you still wouldn't be able to issue the subpoena personally....
