On their first year out of college, how much do commercial airplane pilots and pharmacists make on average?
Alright, so me and my friend are trying to find out information about commercial airplane pilots and pharmacists. We want to know how much they make on average for their first year, how many years of college they need, and other information about the two jobs to figure out which one is better. Thanks!

- This type of information can be found in the US Occupational Outlook Handbook on http://www.bls.gov/oco/ Pharmacist information is on: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos079.htm Airline pilots: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos107.htm Hope this helps!
- I don't know much about commercial airlines, but I do know that Pharmacy programs are intensive (5-7 years) and take you straight to a Ph.D Pharm degree. I have seen many students start then quit, it is packed full of information and there is barely time to learn anything new or do student activities. I'm in a metro area in a poor state and the pharm students typically start at $45,000. Plus on a side not, do we really need more prescriptions? Do you want to be part of the problem or solution?
