What can pharmacists with a residency do that pharmacists without a residency can't?

I'm on a pharmacy track and I just want to know all the opportunities pharmacy provides. What are the benefits of having a residency; what can pharmacists with a residency do that they otherwise couldn't? Thanks a lot :)

1. A residency allows you to work in a clinical hospital setting. It doesn't do much if you are working in a retail store. All they are looking for is a warm body and a pharmacy license.
