What is the cheapest way to get a prescription for a medication at an American pharmacy?

I got a prescription for medication (stomach acid inhibitor-- lansoprazol) in Mexico, it works well; but now I need it filled in the United States. What is the cheapest way to get this prescription from an American doctor so I can pick it up at an American pharmacy?

1. Lansoprazole is Prevacid. It is very expensive. It costs over $100 per month. I would recommend you try OTC Prilosec. They are in the same family and work equally as well. It costs less than $20 per month.
